Location reconnaissance 

The greater knowledge me and my cast have on the location chosen to record, the more efficient and effective we will be during the recording days. Furthermore, this also decreases the probability of failing on certain aspects as we already have an insight of how things are going to turn out. 

After talking with Jaime (my actor) and telling him my idea of how I wanted it to turn out, he agreed on using his house as the main setting. This is due to the fact that my main idea is to imitate the daily life of a normal teenager when suffering a break-up. Although we could have experimented with different settings apart from his house and after researching about normal depression symptoms (such as not wanting to leave home or carry on activities), we decided that our best option would be to do it simple but relatable to the current situation of my actor.
